SOE 2021
Due to the on-going pandemic the SOE Executive Committee has been carefully considering how best to move forward with the SOE Congress in June 2021. It appears at this time that it will be extremely difficult to hold a full face to face meeting by next June, due to restrictions on people meeting in one place and also the numerous travel restrictions across Europe and the world. Our Congress offers not only an excellent scientific programme but also significant networking opportunities and for this reason we wish to plan for a live meeting.
Therefore, it is proposed that the SOE 2021 Congress moves to 2 – 4 December 2021, remaining in Prague at the Congress Centre.
With so many meetings cancelled or moved to online platforms SOE wish to facilitate the opportunity for National Societies to hold a face to face meetings with their own organisations at SOE 2021. If this is something that you would like to consider, please email the SOE Secretariat with an idea of the provisional numbers of attendees and the proposed duration of the meeting.
The SOE Secretariat team will be in touch with you to keep you updated with our re-scheduled meeting details for SOE 2021. Please share these details with your colleagues and on your National Society websites. An updated logo with the new dates has been attached to this email.
